we have members which cancel they PayPal subscription payment profiles, then they get demoted on the website and they later decide to re-join. What is the best solution for this?

I found only one thread about similar issue: Demoted member re-activate himself: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6651&p=16475&hilit=restore+subscription#p16475

However we don't have PayPal Pro.

How to handle this? I imagine that once they cancel their PayPal subsciptions, they need to get a new one and it needs to be associated with their existing account.

Are the PayPal "Subscription Modifications" buttons which you provide exactly for this purpose?
