Yes, the solution described on that thread is probably going to be your best option if you need to provide coupon code type functionality.

However, if you want to create a signup form that allows new members to have 12 months free access followed by a recurring amount, you could simply generate the access level button (WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro Forms) that looks something like this:

That would give anyone who signs up with that button 12 months of free access and then start charging them $5/month.

I've been searching and testing, but can't find a way to do it. Is this possible in s2member? If so, how would I set that up?
