Using Promo codes

We have S2 member and will upgrade to pro. I am using PayPal Standard now and don't want to go with PPal Pro. Can I use Promo codes from S2 Pro in Paypal Standard? Thanks

You can use the coupons with the pro-forms only. The pro-forms can be used without PayPal Pro, but then the user will be required to have a PayPal account to make the payment. Some users have reported that they managed to have PayPal not require they have an account, but I can't confirm it.

Thanks for the reply. Yea, I have PP standard but then I pay the monthly fee for users to not have to have a PP account. We will play around with it.

If you use the pro-form with Express Checkout and would rather not require the user to have a PayPal account to pay, you could try changing the setting
PayPal Admin -> Profile -> My Selling Tools -> Website Preferences -> PayPal Account Optional. Let me know if that does the trick.
