I have a client who needs to change the paypal account associated with his subscription website.

Do the members subscriptions automatically switch over to the new paypal account we enter or do all the old member's subscriptions keep going to the old paypal account? :?:

I believe the PayPal's (or the other gateways') account setting is to receive the payments only, the users are stored in a database in WordPress as I understand it.

If you're switching then all you have to do is change all the information to the new one and save the changes.

Hope this helps. :)

The paypal accounts have a subscription profile for each member with auto-renewal dates. All that info would have to transfer to the new paypal account somehow. Does s2 tell the old paypal account to stop charging and tell the new one..."here are 3500 members...start charging them???

I'm not so sure, I'm sure Cristián or Jason could help you, but for now as far as I know, the only reason you configure a PayPal account is to receive payments.

No, s2Member won't move the subscription from one PayPal account to the other.

You could, after integrating s2Member with the new PayPal account, have all the users re-subscribe, but this is most probably what you'd prefer.

I guess you'd have to talk with PayPal and see if they'd migrate the subscribers from one account to the next, but I'm not sure they would. :|
