Category restriction and URI restriction not working

I have pro s2 member and I can't make the restrictions working. By not working I mean that even if I log out I can access restricted areas such as categories I set to be restricted and URIs I set to be restricted eg /activity. It's on a local wp install. And I have it working on another website. I have 2 thoughts.

1. Restrictions do not work on local install
2. I can only use s2 pro on 1 website?

Can anyone help??

In order for s2Member to work correctly on a localhost installation you must go to WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Localhost WAMP/MAMP Developers and do what it's told there.

If you only buy a single-site license then you can only s2Member on the site you specify it's for, if you buy a multisite license then you can use it with an unlimited amount of websites.

Hope this helps. :)

In order to block that from showing up (restricted pages & categories).
You can try Alternative Views Protection.
You can find them under WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Alternative View Protection ( please read ).

Hope this helps. :)

Ok, now I've watched the video but it didn't help me resolve the issue. I have the site now on a test server so not local install. The category restrictions work but the URI recristions do not. I need these to protect BuddyPress pages such as http://thegsa.co.uk.s113400.gridserver.com/members. You see this page can be viewed even though the /members/ URI is protected. Yes, my membership options page is set up and it can be found here http://thegsa.co.uk.s113400.gridserver.com/membership

Please let me know how can I resolve this issue.

/members/ will not protect http://thegsa.co.uk.s113400.gridserver.com/members because it doesn't appear in that URL, but it does protect http://thegsa.co.uk.s113400.gridserver.com/members/. I suggest you change your URI restriction to /members.
