Preventing spam registrations at Level 0?

I'd like to know the best methods of preventing spam registrations at Level 0 when also using BuddyPress (so the registration link is controlled by BuddyPress /register).

Nevermind - I found my answers elsewhere on the forums.

SI Anti-Spam Captcha and Anti-Spam Registrations plugins.
