Inline File Extensions Protection

On the 16th I asked a question on this forum that has not been answered... (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16886). So now I asked this question is there a way to mask the external link so if shared it will not work? Or is there some other way to protect a external URL, since it appears that I cannot put the html files in the protected folder and access it...

Thanks to anyone

You might like to know that all urls that are made to download a file (or see it in-browser), require the user to have access to the protected file. I believe they create a special link to access the file, the link has many information that will only work with the specific location and computer which the client has.

I believe specific post/page links also have that special security.

Does this answer your question?

Thanks for the reply, you are correct in what you are saying, but my .HTML page would not load. Jason fixed it for me.
Take a look: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16886
