Restoring cancelled subscription

Hello support,

we have members which cancel they PayPal subscription payment profiles, then they get demoted on the website and they later decide to re-join. What is the best solution for this?

I found only one thread about similar issue: Demoted member re-activate himself: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6651&p=16475&hilit=restore+subscription#p16475

However we don't have PayPal Pro.

How to handle this? I imagine that once they cancel their PayPal subsciptions, they need to get a new one and it needs to be associated with their existing account.

Are the PayPal "Subscription Modifications" buttons which you provide exactly for this purpose?

Hi there. Yes, that is correct. You would use a PayPal Subscription Modification Button to allow an existing Free Subscriber (perhaps due to a prior demotion) to pay you again and have their account upgraded back to a paid status at a higher Membership Level.
