1 year free monthly membership, based on coupon code?

Postby demo38 » January 20th, 2012, 2:24 pm

Hello, Using s2member Pro with Pro Form - I have a client that wants to give out a coupon code to only a few people - good for 12 months free, then returning to monthly regular billing.

I've been searching and testing, but can't find a way to do it. Is this possible in s2member? If so, how would I set that up?

Thanks for any insight.
Jonathon

*EDIT* Finally found a post that sounds like a work-around that might work.

Hi Jonathon,

Yes, the solution described on that thread is probably going to be your best option if you need to provide coupon code type functionality.

However, if you want to create a signup form that allows new members to have 12 months free access followed by a recurring amount, you could simply generate the access level button (WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro Forms) that looks something like this:

That would give anyone who signs up with that button 12 months of free access and then start charging them $5/month.
