Hi there! At this point I'm in my "due diligence" stage of my project and I need your expert help to see if s2Member plugin meets my needs. It's close, but I need some clarification. I'm simply a fella with an idea (whose technical WP skills still need a bit of help) and I want to transform it into a reality. Think you can help me out?

I am looking to create a WP blog/site farm (WP Multi User) and I need to create a membership/subscription/billing area. I need my clients to be able to do the following:
  • pick a username
  • pick a theme for their site
  • choose a subscription level (monthly/yearly) and securely pay for it (hopefully without leaving my site)
  • capture their name/address/info etc for newsletter purposes
  • create a members only area to access tutorials and documents to help them with their Wordpress efforts.
It's a bit of a long list but can s2 do all this for me?
Cheers, Eros

1. yes, pick a username
2. i don't know about themes, i know Pro Sites does this
3. Yes. You will need s2member Pro for users not to leave your site
4. Yes, you can connect with mailchimp and sync custom fields
5. Yes. s2member is very easy for this

Good luck!

giovanni_gon, THANK YOU!

When you have an idea that you are researching, sometimes you can get overloaded and I appreciate the help. Prosites will be my next item to look up. If anyone else has a thought they wish to share on a theme other than Prosites, I'm all ears!

Regards,
Eros
