The WebSharks Framework For WordPress®

Sorry if this is not the right place for this, but I see The WebSharks Framework For WordPress® page on the site, and it says it's used in the PrimoThemes and WebSharks plugins, but I'm not sure: Is this a framework that I can download and use to build my own plug-ins and/or themes, or is it just embedded in WebSharks products?

Thanks,

Very sorry for the delayed response ssteinerX

The WebSharks, Framework is not downloadable in a separate package; we use it internally for our own products. That being said, you can find the latest version of our framework inside the s2Clean Theme for WordPress: http://www.primothemes.com/post/s2clean ... wordpress/
It is open source, GPL licensed.

If I'm reading that right, to get the GPL'd framework, you have to buy a $75 commercial package?

Yes, I see the confusion. GPL does NOT always mean free though. It has more to do with the ways in which you can use the code, once you have it. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html

That being said, the WebSharks Framework is also available in the free themes and plugins that we offer, so you can grab it from there as well. I was just pointing you in the direction of the latest/greatest, which is in the s2Clean Theme, and in some of our other commercial themes.

The latest version of the WebSharks Framework, as of right now, is WS-T-3.0.

I should note that ALL of our commercial products,
with the exception of s2Member Pro, are licensed as GPL v2 in accordance with WordPress®.
