Help! Login Welcome page set, but not showing up properly

Hello,

I have chosen an existing page to be the login welcome page and saved the changes on s2Member > General options > Login Welcome Page. However, when I tested the login, it keeps directing me to another page instead of the saved and designated page. I have further tested the function and it actually happens to specifically to the designated login welcome page. That is, with or without logging in, as long as I click on the designated welcome page, the error appears, as follow:

For whatever page I set the welcome page to be, it keeps redirecting to http://ournewsite.com/pre-set-welcome-page/member-subscription-page?s2member_level_req=1

What seems to be wrong? Can anyone please help?

I am using WP 3.0-RC1-15022 and s2Member version 3.0.4

First, please upgrade s2Member to v3.0.9+, and then try this again. Secondly, please make sure that you're NOT protecting your Membership Options Page. You need to have both a Login Welcome Page, and also a Membership Options Page configured.

Starting with s2Member v3.1+, this will become a requirement, because we've also had reports on redirect loops being caused by an incomplete configuration. So in s2Member v3.1+, a warning will be issued whenever options are saved with no Membership Options Page configured.

If this still does not resolve the problem for you, it could be a conflict with another plugin. Please try disabling other plugins until you find the culprit. I got a report the other day about the "Bad Behavior" plugin causing an error like this.
