Paypal button with SEK currency

Postby webbmalin » September 20th, 2011, 6:01 am

Hello!

I just bought Pro :)

Well, I'm setting up my second website with s2member. The first one was in english, using dollars...
This one is in swedish using swedish crowns, SEK.

Im not sure how to create the paypal button.
I need one for level #1 access...

I can change the currency from USD to SEK at "Checkout Page Style", but everywhere else is the dollar sign...

What to do????

I believe they still have to implement other currencys that are not dollars...

You can use the currency code and locale code attributes. WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Buttons -> Shortcode Attributes -> cc and lc :)

Where is the dollar sign? In the PayPal interface? You should ask PayPal support about that, then. :|

Nope, it's in s2member when I create the button. I've attached a screenshot.

I change to SEK, but it still says "...Then I want to charge: $" and there I fill in the amount. The same at the row above where I fill in the discount amount...

It's probably gonna use SEK, but can you see it's pretty confusing?

Oh, I see what you mean. That's just the interface for the button generator, but the shortcode you use is what matters. You can generate the button thinking in SEK and then just make sure you specify that currency in the shortcode. :)

Hi,

I'm also thinking about using another currency, and I was wondering if there are such implementations for the Alipay plugin? The default currency is USD, but rarely, if any, people in China pay USD with Alipay.

Thanks for the heads up on this thread.

AliPay Buttons generated by s2Member do not allow for currency selection, because currency is always selected by the Buyer when they get to AliPay. I believe the default currency with AliPay is CNY Yuan.
