Adding in-between level

Postby Shannon » January 25th, 2012, 2:32 pm

I'm currently running a site with the free version of S2 member with a one month level and one year level. Recently we've been asked to add a six month option. Ideally I'd like the one month to be level 1, six month level 2 and one year level 3, as this obviously makes the most logical sense.

However, if I swap it so that six months is level 2 and one year is level 3, will this demote all my current one year subscribers to six month subscribers?

You don't need to use different levels to have different billing terms. Simply create different buttons of the same level with different billing terms.

That way you can have many billing terms with multiple level types.

The level determines the access, not the payment plan, they could be related, but not necessarily. Like Bruce said, you can have just Level 1 for all users and create 3 separate buttons to sell it with different payment plans.
